Recent Looks - Mid-July

Summertime-Outfit. It was really hot that day. Unfortunately, the picture is a little dark, but you get the idea.

Relaxing sunday look. You may have noticed that I really love my new Birkenstocks lately ;-) Since they got trendy recently (e.g. see this article), I like to wear them even more!

This time with glasses :-) Also a summertime look with Birkenstocks again.

First Outfits

Well, finally getting started. Took some pictures lately, but didn't find the time to upload them. Here goes...

I wore that for a family dinner, where I had to add sneakers (we were going to have a barbecue outside and it gets cold in the evenings here) and a pullover. I had to attend an interview for a part-time job before, so I was going for something chic (the blouse) but also transformable into a warmer outfit.

Supporting the German Team in an understatement way. And we won :-)

Introduction: Buy less, look good anyway!

I would like to share my idea, that's why I created this blog.

Looking at the bad working conditions of the people who sew the clothes we buy in Germany (and a lot of other countries) and the worsening quality of affordable clothing, I was more and more appalled and felt bad whenever I bought clothes. I always enjoyed shopping but the more I learn about how most of the clothes are produced and experience the worsening quality, the less enjoyable it gets. I tried to switch to fairtrade/organic clothing, but unfortunately, the selection is still rather small. So recently I decided to just buy less clothing. There's so many clothes in my closet I rarely wear and if you think about it: Who really needs that many clothes anyway?

So I'll see what I can do with what I already have in my closet and more or less regularly post pictures of what I'm wearing. 

The idea is to buy less, only buy fairtrade/organic and look good anyway and share my thoughts about it. And who knows: Maybe I can inspire some more folks to do the same :-)
